Pues reanudamos esta colección para los amantes del heavy metal, que ya arrancó hace un par de meses mas o menos, que recuerdo fue publicada ya en el lejano 2012 en ese gran blog griego que fue "Boozetunes" que desgraciadamente ya desapareció.

Pues bien, para esta segunda parte con mi sobrino Quinti (The Sobrino) hicimos a medias el volumen siete con un repaso a las mejores bandas del heavy metal español, que para los aficionados de aquí, serán todas fácilmente reconocibles.

Pero llegados a este punto, The Sobrino, realizó todos los demás volúmenes de esta extensa serie y además en plan monográfico dedicado a las bandas de NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), estilo en el que es un auténtico especialista, y que me dio la oportunidad de conocer a interntasísimas bandas hasta ese momento desconocidas totalmente para mi.

Este genero musical surgió en Gran Bretaña en la segunda mitad de los años setenta y tuvo su máximo explendor en los primeros años de la siguiente década, y no hace falta ser un seguidor del heavy metal, para conocer a sus bandas mas emblemáticas como "Iron Maiden", "Saxon", "Motörhead" o "Def Leppard", solo por citar a las mas famosas.

Pero fue un auténtico boom y las bandas nuevas surgian por todas partes, se dice que hubo en Gran Bretaña mas de mil grupos.
